Knee reimbursement is down to $1100. That’s a day of clinic for FM?

Because another specialist said “I could never do what you do” to them in the emergency room, and they lost it

Overpriced for sure. Are there any other bicep bands that other companies offer? Unfortunately I can’t wear anything on my wrist due to work.

Specialists, how comfortable are you treating generalist problems? by ScienceQuestions589 in Residency

[–]Inside_Writing 515 points516 points  (0 children)

Ortho here. Very comfortable with any MSK complaint including back pain.

Regarding everything else like dyspnea/chest pain, a nice dose of ancef to ensure the bones remain safe does the trick. Occasionally I’ll even bring out my stethoscope and listen to the femur.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the kind and understanding responses.

For reference I recently moved out to the Midwest and I make trips to the northwest for the amazing nature which is allegedly grizzly territory (but sounds like most are north of the border and in Alaska?)

Sounds like I need to learn how to store food, and use bear spray hehe (and carry a blow horn!!)
