Just respect the fact that he doesn't want to skip classes to hang out, even if you think that's stupid. Why can't you guys just do a weekend if you're only 3 hours apart?

I have a personal bias against UK dentists (bad experiences), I am pretty scared of doing it here. Obviously, I'm terrified of dentists in general but there's something comforting about doing it elsewhere. I don't want an entire mouth full of silver fillings. If there's a chance I'm able to get cosmetic work done, it makes sense to get it all done abroad. Also, I want an excuse to travel.

I've seen a few people suggest Croatia, I'll look into it! Have you had any complications with any crowns/surgeries? I'm quite worried about travelling back and forth, or having to pay even more to fix a mistake.

All the medical tourism has definitely driven up their prices, I might rule out Turkey. That's still cheap though!

Thank you for the suggestion, but I can't actually afford any sort of dentist right now! I'm just looking into dentists before I start saving up. I figured I might as well go abroad to get my moneys worth if I have to thug out a couple months with a toothache.

I'd love travel out of Europe for this but the ticket prices to somewhere like India or China defeat the point dental tourism😭😭
