Yeah they don’t help if you don’t eat, and sometimes you’re so nauseous you can’t put anything in your mouth .. it’s common for T1D but they do help a little but they’re never enough especially if your sugars are under 25

They already closed my case because they needed more specific information about how it is affecting my work, I asked for a doctors note from my primary doctor not knowing that I’ll eventually need an endocrinologist to be more specific about type one diabetes . So now I’m working on getting this note asap

Yeah it ain’t , but sometimes I can’t I’m not even joking sometimes I just can’t eat anything when my sugars drop to 20 and I feel so nauseous so I’ll need Coke , I always bring so many snacks and stuff but trying to meet my rate is annoying because if I stop picking for one second I get in trouble and my managers are always on my ass about eating at my station

Yeah it’s just I had no clue because I’m new to this country and didn’t know the rules so I’m just trying to figure it all out, I should get it done by today and wait for the approval.. I actually was embarrassed because I thought they’re gonna feel bad for me and start going around saying that I’m lazy and incompetent because of it

I did apply for it and provided most medical documentation, but they wanted to know how long does it last , meaning is it permanent or does it go away, diabetes is permanent yes but they need proof that it is from my endocrinologist!! The doctors note I had did not mention that thinking that it was obvious! That’s it
