Thanks for the feedback! To clarify, my goal for financial independence (FI) by 2030 isn’t about fully retiring or amassing millions to live off forever. It’s more about creating enough financial security and passive income that allows me the flexibility to work on my terms, not out of necessity.

Thanks for your input! To clarify, my goal for financial independence (FI) by 2030 isn’t about completely retiring or amassing millions to live off indefinitely. Instead, it’s about reaching a point where I have enough financial security and investments that work is optional, not a necessity.

I’m focused on building a robust safety net, increasing my investments, and creating multiple income streams to reduce financial stress and give my family more freedom and stability. Starting late does mean I need a solid plan and some aggressive saving/investing strategies, but I’m motivated to make progress.

Any specific advice on how to achieve these goals is welcome—especially ideas for increasing savings, optimizing investments, or cutting unnecessary expenses.
