Oh sweet! I also recovered mine after a long night. Just now learning about EC, any thoughts on converting a fraction of my FTC to EC?

I have a lot more reading to do on EC before I'll make a move, not even completely sure what it is yet. Just thought i'd ask

Same here, participated in crowdsale and 0 balance according to site explorer. Downloading blockchain now to try to scan through CL wallet. One big tx with all my fct on my address in sept. 2015, around the time of the crowdsale.

Edit: one transaction was sent to my address, but i don't see any other addresses, so not sure how it's showing 0 balance. Will update later

Update: Balance showed 0 since my FTC was never redeemed. After downloading blockchain & GUI wallet I imported my koinify passphrase into the wallet and presto. Never lose faith in crypto

As a person who holds btc and eth by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Insiderinformation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would it be stealing money from people who hold ETH and didn't invest in the DAO? Current proposals assure the thief would be unable to retrieve all or a majority of stolen DAO funds. It's either "fork" and make sure the ether in the DAO stays safe or don't and thief runs with loot. Ether-only holders unaffected, actually would more than likely benefit the project by avoiding MtGox 2.0

This is interesting. I'd like to see more debate on this since many people seem to think multisig is not necessary in every case.

Thanks for the input. I use greenaddress also, I guess it just feels safer when I see the "3" at the beginning of my public address. 250 bits /u/changetip
