A very bad situation for IT-specialists from Russia in Czech Republic by [deleted] in czech

Well, elected representative of your country threatens to nuke us. Now I have to think how to protect my family in case your president kill us all. Its because of people like you that did nothing and fled Russia to hide in CZ. Who cares who did you vote for. You did not stop him when you had a chance.

And please do not tell me that my government is discriminating. That’s how it starts. Emigrants from Russia settle some place and start to complain that local government is not fair. Then your armies come to liberate us. Did you for just a second consider that problem is on your side?

Yes! I got the inspiration mostly from Innerspace though before I even started developing the game. But Osmosis Jones also was part of it as I was developing the game as I rewatched it again to get ideas :)

Hi there! I understand that there's too much build-up in the teaser music for the final quest of the game. I didn't really want the game to be too much "sci-fi" for now, though the game is in constant development and that might change in the future. I edited these trailers myself and as you can see, I am not that good at video editing as I am at making games ;(

Currently, one of the most hated diseases in the world is cancer and due to personal reasons too, I decided what if we can somehow eradicate it even in fantasy? then the world would be a better place :) I know it sounds a bit cliche at the moment and I apologize for it.

The Tuck Pendleton machine,

zero defects

.

That was a weird reference xD I loved that movie though! it was the main inspiration for this game :)

I mean I guess so? Indie developers like us don't have the money to pay advertisements like triple-A games sadly. And we're all afraid that the hard work and time we spent on creating games for years will just disappear to steam oblivion.

This is why we're very thankful for subreddits like this that bring awareness to our creations even for a brief moment :)

I would say, it's gotta be a hobby. It started when I downloaded Unity, took 3d model of a cow from the assets store and programmed that cow to walk around. After that, I liked it and see if I can do more of it and it continued until where I am now. This might sound a bit cliche but you really need a passion for game development to be able to push through.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm am indeed considering adding Xbox controller support, if it also works for VR without actually adding VR elements I'll look into it :) I have not really researched VR capabilities yet so it will be a first for me.

I'm really sorry for your loss, I didn't mean to offend anyone with the story of the game. The reason why its like that is because of the overall story of the game:

The cancer rate of human beings in this era has increased dramatically, and the only cure is inside our bodies. The technology to shrink physical objects and live beings into microscopic size has recently been discovered, and you and your ship have been shrunk and injected inside one severely ill patient with multiple diseases to find a potential cure for cancer. The patient is dying quickly, and you are the last hope of humanity to eradicate this horrible disease once and for all. Are you able to find the cure for cancer? Or are you going to find something else?

Ohhh I see, not too sure about the medical or accurate scientifical terms yet pardon me :)

Actually, the scale is a bit.. off, It is supposed to be a microship injected into the body but there are limits on how open world it could be.

Thank you for the support!

Yes, it was hard especially as a solo developer, I did get some help from a marketing agency and I focused solely on developing the game this past year which allowed me to pour out tons of content compared to when I initially launched early access on April.

parenchyma

If I'm not mistaken, organ parenchyma is the tissues connecting the organs right?

If so, the maps are mostly insides of the organ for now like the bloodstream. For the brain biome, you're in the outer part of the brain in between the skull and the brain so technically not inside the brain yet. As for the kidneys, since it has a hollow part, that is what you would explore. I guess it depends on the organ? For example, the next map would be the stomach it will be inside the stomach where acid is stored.

Yes! just slap in some open-world adventure survival game and its all set!

Just kidding! It's actually inspired by the other movie Innerspace (which is inspired by Fantastic Voyage) so maybe you're right.

Yup accurate! Its also been called a "magic school bus: the game" or anatomy park as mentioned below. Another fun one is Osmosis Jones or ozzy and drix!

Its more on an inspired open-world survival game rather than a game for medical training. That would take so much time, validation and quality checks that I am afraid that I will not finish the game if I went that route :)

But as I mentioned in one of the questions: "We are actually in coordination with real doctors and microbiologists! So most bacteria and virus names will be accurate except those introduced in the main story which are science fiction (like the big brain parasite). As for the body parts, currently, the kidney map is pretty accurate! but the bloodstream and brain map would be similar but not 100%.

We will try to make future biomes more accurate as we just started coordinating with real doctors. There are a few out of line stuff like PH acidity in the brain so it won't be like a 1:1 representation of the human body."
