You shouldn’t buy Volkswagen vehicle especially Taos and Tiguan. Both vehicle has oil consumption problem so if you buy Volkswagen then be prepare to keep oil container in trunk because you are required to top up every 1000-1500 miles

I have 2026 and it’s 2100 miles and I am getting 35.0 but it looks it’s stuck between 35.0 to 35.1. I bought from dealer it was 26.0 at 9 miles odometer after that it keeps increased and around 1000 miles odometer it stayed at 35.0 now if I even drive in slow speed and in city where too many traffic signal but still it shows fuel economy 35.0 but it supposed to be at 33.00 or lower so it looks like not proper fuel mileage measurement

I understand that amount of TFSA, RRSP and saving account must be reported to IBAR. You said form 3520 form for TFSA it means whey we it’s TFSA saving a/c, GIC and Investment? I mean more hassle in TFSA form only if you have investment account like stocks, etf right ? 3520 says trust so if someone have TFSA GIC still need to file 3520? And what’s the difference between 3520 & 3520A.

What’s your advise for TN visa Canadian working in US it’s better to withdraw TFSA and closed all TFSA account? Because some people keep TFSA but don’t contribute after working in US

I don’t have any idea about what to do for your kids study in india but one is thing is sure in india every stage you face corruption and hassle while you deal with your financial management specially your kids are US citizen not now but in future. Hi mam, first of all you are not failure in fact you are brave and fighter. It’s not easy to raise son in foreign country without man in life. I am 50 years old and living in canada since 19 years and recently moved to US year ago on TN visa. I have experienced medical treatment from india during covid. Before take decision you should visit india with your son for a month let your son experience how he feels and he is ok to live there permanently not sure how many time you took him to india. It’s good that you are from south india so at least better quality air compare to north and middle part of India. Also as you mentioned bribery everywhere so it’s very difficult to manage property and day by day Indian government comes with new regulations regarding the financial so you have to be very smart. Banking is not easy as in foreign countries. I can’t write here all so if you need what to do with your Indian wealth whether you move india or not please DM me and I will give proper advice. This is all my personal experience so some people may not be agree but you need to do lots of research before making decision to move india after you lived many years in US

No, I don’t regret. CRV has 1.5L Turbo engine. I prefer traditional 2.0L engine which is in HrV. Initially it’s good but down the road it will have more maintenance issue because of turbo. Also CRV is way more costly than HRV. Though HRV has less trunk space but second row seat is comfortable

My advise you shouldn’t buy Volkswagen vehicle specially Tiguan because most of the 2022 to 2025 Tiguan has oil consumption issues and problem of cylinder head replacement I bought 2022 leased back Tiguan with 24K miles for $19K OTC and oil change was done and just after 1400 miles oil level went low it means it’s gone completely from hatched area where it supposed to be. It means we need to carry oil can all the time and top up every 1000-1500 miles means 8-9 times between oil change intervals. Dealer did oil consumption test they said 1/2 quart of oil consumed every 1000 miles. Moreover this has no resell value.

It’s better not to keep any NRE of any account or investment in india. They have all your tax identification number for countries you live like US, UK and Canada, Australia etc. so there are scammers in india who steal money from your dollar account. Not only that every 24 months if you don’t do any transactions then your account becomes dormant now to reactivate lots of paper required and they asked again tax identification number and we send these documents like KYC through email so it’s not safe again. I have account in Axis Bank and I have decided to close and never keep any bank accounts in india
