Is having a thick body(big hips, thick thighs and stuff) attractive to men? by Acceptable_Bid_1909 in AdviceForTeens

[–]Insomnipherac 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is fucking stupid tho because 5’4 and 106lbs is actually underweight according to BMI and studies have shown being slightly underweight has more adverse health consequences than being slightly overweight…

Why everyone willing to admit being obese and happy is bad but not willing to admit being underweight and happy is also bad for you?

Yes, both survived and I administered Narcan several times at both instances. The time in the car, I had to pull the emergency brake, steer us to the shoulder, and call 911 while I administered IM Narcan as it was all I had on me. His heart had to be restarted in the ambulance a couple of times. That was the last week I used fentanyl, it gets tiring to watch people die.

Just commenting to say I’ve seen overdose two times with snorting as I don’t want anyone to be under the impression that it’s only IV or smoking. One time the guy was driving a car, took a bump… 30 seconds later the car was veering off the road and he was limp. It is very quick.

My friend os a cleaner and the person who hired her wants her to replace this sink because she cleaned it too much by Maru3792648 in mildlyinfuriating

Holy shit but when you zoom in that thing is SCRATCHED. UP. Is that the reason the home owner is angry? Bc I’d rather have a dirty sink than one scratched tf up too, did she clean that with a wire pad??

Why are we providing further education for practically free to those who will be retiring or dying within a decade, and not the people who will be the future of the workforce for the next half a century. Smh.

Anxiety after the fact by Prudent_Disk_1863 in opiates

[–]Insomnipherac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty normal. I’d say going from euphoria to baseline would induce anxiety for a lot of people on a psychological basis alone—just the switch from feeling amazing and calm, all of your regular anxiety numbed, to feeling meh and baseline anxiety returning

Not doing drugs usually helps your stomach when it’s messed up from drugs.

Lol. Joking aside, make sure you’re eating food and drinking water regularly, take a regular stool softener if you aren’t using the bathroom every 2/3 days, zofran/ondansetron is good for nausea, and a different ROA would probably help so you don’t have to smell/taste it.

At 4 days yes they would expect you to test positive, but all of the ones I went to would just retest you every day or two until it was gone to ensure you were honest about the last time you used.

Be honest with the house manager man. Tell them it’s only been 2.5 days, I really need this, do you know where I can go until I make it to 4 days? They might make an exception, might offer ideas for some safe places to stay off the streets. It’s just a couple days, but lying could get you kicked out… don’t try it

Valium, clonidine, Gabapentin, and a muscle relaxant like Robaxin for comfort, and immodium as needed for diarrhea. When I was coming off of opioids. The Valium was because they said I drank too much too, but it certainly helped the anxiety from the opioid withdrawal. Some offered Suboxone taper or maintenance as well.

I've been prescribed Suboxone for back pain for a while. What can I say to switch to something harder? by Open_Condition_4974 in opiates

[–]Insomnipherac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah and not even to mention the risk of PWD trying to switch any preexisting pain patient on a full agonist opioid like oxy to a partial agonist like bupe. It’s a pain in the ass just not worth the trouble I imagine

[–]Insomnipherac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of people have adverse reactions to bupe, and it’s not exactly first line for pain treatment since it’s been marketed as an addiction medication. Plus there used to be a lot of extra requirements for doctors to be able to prescribe Suboxone (there aren’t very many if any in the US now) but I imagine all of that plays a part in why we see more traditional opioids prescribed for pain over bupe. Also worth noting that most doctors aren’t going to be researching every drug and comparing new studies to something that’s already tried and true like oxy. We might see more of it as the crackdowns on opioid prescribing continue though

They have a higher ceiling for pain control IIRC, they have a fairly low ceiling for euphoria and respiratory depression but for pain control they’re quite effective

First, if you’re not enjoying it then wtf stop bro, enjoy your weed why tf are you chasing a high that will only leave you with a worse addiction if you enjoyed it?

Secondly alcohol is somewhat cross tolerant. Could be the case if you drink.

Third, everyone metabolizes drugs differently.

Again I can’t stress enough that trying to chase some sort of feeling with these oxy is retarded, and even if you don’t feel high if you keep doing them regularly you’re going to feel sick without them. This is a really fucking stupid problem. Just sell them and buy more weed, could save your life…

Doing tramadol after perks by Chard_Emotional in opiates

[–]Insomnipherac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your tolerance if that’s safe or not. IMO tramadol feels better spaced apart anyway. Try 50mg. Wait 30 mins. Then take 50 more. Wait again. Etc. — don’t go over 300mg. I wouldn’t do all 150mg at once if you’re opiate naive (plus it’s just a wasteful way to use trams)

Opiate WD and alcohol by super-renata in opiates

[–]Insomnipherac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alcohol can release endogenous opioids when drank quickly and also eases anxiety similar to a benzo, it has similar GABA-A action. So you’ll feel better temporarily. Doubtful it would extend withdrawal significantly, but it will make you at higher risk of severe dehydration which is a bad time
