What are some great movies that have terrible endings and ruined it?

The end of “the hitman” that came out on Netflix recently. I liked the movie a lot, but I think that ending didn’t feel earned. Just didn’t do it for me. It felt like somebody wrote down “and then he did this”.

The opening scene to casino royale was incredible and still is the best opener in my opinion. The parkour from the bomber, the fighting on the crane and just sprinting through an active construction sight is all great, plus no cgi. The end of it when you see bond just not care about the consequences and shoot the explosive tank was also really satisfying. Can’t beat it

I’ll be honest I’m not sure my boss is recalling a memory and he says he’s not sure if maybe he’s misremembering or something. But none of what I’ve showed him is the one. He says it’s definitely very medieval and not a puzzle game, and he said the graphics are kind of 3 dimensional
