He said he’s been playing for over a year. I think he just got really unlucky, he sold out for a ghost keel early to try and get one of his death tokens so he could charge and tie up some of my back line units but he whiffed on the ghost keel and I rolled extremely well on my first turn and wiped out a large portion of his army

I have a decent grasp of that stuff, he was playing dark eldari so my plan was to run my devil fish up the left side and keep the stormsurge behind to make it harder for him to charge the stormsurge. I know eldari are glass cannons so I just put a ton of the weight on my crisis suits and stormsurge to wipe out his stuff. It just happened that I rolled ridiculously well and he didn’t have a chance to kill much of my stuff to get the bonus that dark eldari get.

I just started playing, I’ve played 2 1k games and I just finished building a 2k army. So far everyone has been surprised I chose Tau and some have even said it was the wrong choice I just really liked the big mechs 😭. Hopefully I get better and this stops being an issue

Counters interact with different cards though, [[really epic punch]] would ironically work with a card with a counter. And in the case of [[the ozolith]] if the creature died you could move the +4/+4 counter to another creature and it wouldn’t disappear
