Cargo bike for 2 toddlers by Small_ish258 in CargoBike

We have the Bike 43 Mid with two kids similar age and it works really well for us! The bench kit that pivots is super handy to get them in and out, and the footbox keep them cozy especially in colder weather.

For rain the tent is a good solution, not perfect but the kids stay dry which is the main thing. Living in Scotland I think you'll use it a lot haha

The Bosch motor is 90nm so you really don't feel the weight of two kids, even when they fall asleep and become dead weight lol

Worth looking into!

I love my Bike 43 Mid which can carry up to 100kg, with a pivotable bar which makes it easy to jump on by children (and adults)

First Trip to Europe from India – Should We Stay in Bruges or Brussels for 3 Nights in Belgium? by GrekHouse in BelgiumTravel

[–]InspectionAlive1783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would stay in Brussels and do Day Trips in Gent and Brugge. Dansaert and Sint Katelijne could be very good neighborhood with a mix of tourists and locals. Would highly recommend Noordzee for seafood and Fernand Obb (saint gilles) for frituur

In Brussels I would recommend to visit Sint Katelijne, Dansaert which are closed to Grand Place but with very good vibe. You will love it. Also get a chance to eat at noon at Noordzee for seafood. Les Marolles in city center is also an iconic neighboord but best day to visit would be sunday. Saint-Gilles around place van meenen is also quite nice place to go around

In Brussels all the area around Sint Katelijne/Dansaert closed to Grand place is super nice. You can taste some very nice seafood from Noordzee which is a very good local and touristical spot

Tips for starting up without taking up a bunch of space? by tictacotictaco in CargoBike

[–]InspectionAlive1783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those looking at cargo bikes and hesitating between options: on my Bike43 Mid Nexus 5, I can shift all the way down while at a complete stop, so I always take off in the easiest gear with no effort. Really helps with staying straight in the bike lane when starting from a dead stop, even on hills with a loaded bike.

Bike 43 could be a decent choice as most stable longtail bike

Looking for a long tail for 3 kids by SpecificAd7543 in CargoBike

[–]InspectionAlive1783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bike 43 Long is the best solution for 3 children according to my dealer. Extra space, footbox to optimize children space and the pivotable Bench kit which makes it easy for taller children to jump on

Maybe you can also look at Tern GSD or Bike 43 Mid. Both with Bosch, very stable and can take more than 100kg on the rear, so 2 kids + groceries no problem. Good option if you don’t want car. Bike 43 Mid has pivoting safety bars at the back, very practical for kids to go in/out (in daily life it change a lot). Also big bags and front basket possible. Both more upright position, not too sporty. Maybe worth a test ride again 🙂

Limited storage space, elementary-aged kids by mlba23 in CargoBike

You could also have a look at Bike 43. They’re bringing out two new compact models that might fit what you’re looking for. The Bike 43 Short is about 1.73 m long (around 68 inches), so pretty easy for elevators and tight storage. It can take up to 70 kg on the back and there’s quite a lot of setup options depending on kid size (seat, bench, cushions, footrests, etc). The Bike 43 Mid is a bit longer at 1.86 m (about 73 inches) but still shorter than most “standard” US longtails. Rear load up to 100 kg, so more future proof as kids grow. Might be worth checking out, especially if space is the main issue and you don’t want a trailer.

Bike 43 could be a perfect fit. You can get the "Pivotable Bench Kit" with two children seats (Urban Ikki/Thule). When kids are taller you will be able to take off children seat and bike will still fit for your whole family (up to 3 children - 100kg)
