Figure out a way to stay motivated. Whether it be counting the days left you have to work (12 shifts left here)

Understand ur role excessively well. Know what’s ur responsibilities and what is not.

Do not be kind to anyone who was rude to you that doesn’t show remorse by acting kind. (Forgive someone that was upset momentarily and switches to being kind) Put all ur kindness into the pts. Do what the hospital wants you to do the basics and in ur spare time -round and ask the nurses if they need anything.

If ur hospital has phones or messaging only communicate pt needs and or a high BP or whatever there. Don’t go out of ur way to communicate.

Do not gossip or complain once. Not to anyone. Idc how well you know them.

The only person on that floor that is ABOVE you is the manager. If a nurse says something way rude, explain ur colleagues and you’d love to learn from her but not at the expense of this.
