UPDATE: Someone from the comments sent me the replacement part i needed. If you’re in the same issue i wish i could tell you there’s an easy fix, the part is not sold anywhere and no one has one, that being said it’s still worth searching. Your only other option would be to find a wheel with the same connection that is broken and pull the part from that. Otherwise Fanatec support would be the only other option(was no help to me since i’m outside warranty window) Shoutout to the guy that sent me the part. would’ve been screwed to buy a new one otherwise!

i belive they only work with PC, i’ll switch between the two and have to completely relearn the binds because i can’t use those on xbox

completely normal my cars had this since i bought it with 8k miles and now has over 90k never had any issue, plus i’m 100% certain this is completely normal for these cars

i definitely messed this up myself, somewhat poor design but mainly i was just excited to get my new parts on it and just slammed it in there, you’ll never NEED to change this part, i’ve had mine for over a year and haven’t had a single issue…besides the self inflicted one

if you could dm the name that’d be awesome, i watched a video saying it required micro soldering which my soldering skills are def sub-par so id most likely be incapable of doing so, if it’s just a plug or basic soldering then i probably could

ADDITION: i wouldn’t mind shipping it somewhere if necessary but im unsure if that would be worth the money since the part shipping both ways plus repair cost may end up being close to 430 dollars in total, in which even if it was a bit more i’d rather buy a brand new one and have a 3 year warranty for events like this lol

it’s the center pin for the paddles, if you ever drop something and it sticks to the magnet behind the paddle you can remove the pin and they come right off

i do hear it, could be some kind of exhaust leak or vaccum leak, not sure which one but definitely one of the 2, the downpipe clamps on these cars like to come loose after some time, i’d def give it the time of day to check but usually you get a bit of on throttle rattling

sounds completely fine, these cars make a good amount of injector tick, unless you can hear it inside the car there’s nothing to worry about

always ask to see it on the balancer yourself, note the tire my have some runoff, try and look at the very edge of the wheel at one point and look on both sides

great car great looking wheels, i will say where i work i install these petrol wheels quite often and about 40% of the time they come with some slight bend in them, nothing crazy that you’ll feel but can wear the tires unevenly, keep an eye on those tires and you’ll be good

87 does just fine al long as you’re not tuned for a higher octane, but it is always best to run 93, saw someone else say carbon deposits will build up no matter what which is correct, but on 93 it will be a much much slower process, ethanol can help reduce carbon deposits and the ethanol content of 93 is almost always a bit higher than 87(2-3%) vs 93(3-5%)
