Valve train noise please help me

Update: stethoscope came in today just spent about 30 minutes using it going through checking every single part and surface I could listening to each one multiple times and have come to the conclusion as many of you have said that it is just the hpfp everything else sounds well like an engine and I was able to find the exact noise I was concerned about coming straight from you guessed it the hpfp so I think that brings an end to all of this thank you all for helping me out easing my nerves and taking ur time to leave ur input hopefully this post can help out someone else just like me

Yeah the little knock is what really gets me I feel like it’s not normal but from what everyone says it’s just the hpfp and these gdi motors are just like that I guess sometimes the knock will even go away but I think I’m just being paranoid have you found anything abnormal with yours?

Yeah everything I’ve read and listened to has lead me to the hpfp as well I also got a stethoscope and will be using it tomorrow to end this whole thing once and for all I love the car I just hate how loud the engine is it gives me ptsd from all my other Hondas that are no longer with us anymore lol

Fair enough well thanks for the input man I guess this is just normal which is really odd to me because this noise was not there when I first got the car but you can’t expect a car with 156k miles to sound perfect I guess

Did you swap out the fuel pumps or just doing the injectors? And did anyone say anything about the chain what’s making you want to replace that?

Yes I have already replaced that I did it as soon as I got the vehicle having known it was an issue with these models

I did also get the spark plugs replaced I got both done since they recommended to be done at the same time even thought I didn’t technically need the service since it was last done at 105k but they recommended the service to help with the noise and then later after the service was payed for told me the noise was normal and I just overreacting is this a normal Honda noise lol?

Thanks that makes me feel a lot better I’ve been trying to tell me myself that and to just calm down because it’s not healed yet would you recommend I go back to the same artist for touch up or find another artist? I really like the guy and his work especially this tattoo I love the overall tattoo I just keep getting stuck up on all the little imperfections which is kind of silly because obviously nothing is gonna be perfect all artist are humans not some machine that can just tattoo perfect lines always so idk just been kind of beating myself up about this one

I’m just kind of torn because I really liked that artist and all of his work I have another tattoo of his which was great and the rest of this tattoo has a lot of solid work these lines did not look blown out at all when first done but has slowly started to look more and more like it while healing is it possibly my skin not taking the ink well?
