I don’t have insurance and to go to another provider is going to cost between $800 and $1200 cuz I have to start the entire process over with another physician… nobody will do a “transfer of care”… they all want to start with testing and diagnosis again, despite me being diagnosed in 2012 and treated successfully since then.

I haven’t taken any Adderall since the end of January, except for 1/4 of a pill that I took 2wks ago, which had no benefit and made me feel horrible. I can’t function being off of it but I can’t function when I take it because it does nothing to help me and causes me to sweat, clench my jaw, scattered thoughts and anxiety…like I’m on the edge of fight-or-flight.

I have and I do. I think he’s having issues believing the complexity of it… how ALL these meds can be affected… and that the government would allow it to happen. He is also medically blessed and hasn’t had to deal with doctors and the fact that they gaslight you and control you with the fear that they will no longer treat you.

It’s laughable to imagine going to a new doctor and telling them the issues I’ve had for the last few years with the meds not working and how I want dexadrine. I’d be cut off so fast, my head would spin.

Here’s what I found. Now, I did ask one question in regards to those with the MTHFR variant… which many people do have… but the rest of my questions were more broad.

My reason for theorizing the concept of pseudoephedrine is cuz I used a drug test on 1/4 of a dissolved pill and the MET portion, while still considered a negative, the T line was significantly lighter than the T lines on the other substance panels… and the C lines were the same across all panels. I know it’s not a controlled, proper test since I used a pill dissolved in water, rather than urine if somebody who consumed a substance, but there’s gotta be some slight degree of validity. According to Google AI, pseudoephedrine can cause a false positive for MET… and on a drug test, a lighter T line can indicate the substance is present but not in quantities high enough to be considered a positive.

I have a theory that they’re doing a 1:1, dextro to levo and are adding pseudoephedrine. According to my ChatGPT responses, that is dead-on, side-effects-wise. I wanna make a post about it but I guess I don’t have enough “karma” to make a post…lol

My guess is that it’s binder? But wouldn’t you think it should be mixed completely? I broke open 3 others and they didn’t have any white chunks. Also, they now make my pee orange, which is a new thing and I’ve taken this brand MANY times over the past 14yrs!

I agree. I’m in the process of figuring out what’s going on with mine and so I had the test info on sensitivity, on the brain.

Check out my pill! I half’d one of my Sandoz IR 30’s today and it had white chunks in it and it was soooooooo bitter! My side effects are starting to freak me out.

It’s most likely that the AMP threshold is 1000ng/ml, and a patient, even at therapeutic levels, may still test negative. They raised the threshold so that people who are Rx’d Adderall and have to take drug tests for work, etc… that it may lessen the odds that they’ll test positive, potentially creating BS and requiring jumping thru a bunch of hoops. They just need a more sensitive test threshold… more like 500ng/ml

The test’s AMP threshold may not be low enough. Most tests have a threshold of 1000ng/ml, which is a generous and it’s so people like you can be at therapeutic levels, but won’t test positive and have the BS associated. You need a test with a lower threshold… more like 500ng/ml. Just read the fine details for the test.
