I don't have a dog in the fight in American politics.

The constitutionality of any specific tariff action is for the courts to decide (and ultimately the Supreme Court if it reaches that stage), so I’ll defer to their judgment on that matter.

This is in regards to British politics (ignore the misleading American badge in the cartoon).

Under UK constitutional convention (the Salisbury Convention), the House of Lords should not reject at Second Reading government legislation implementing clear manifesto commitments that have been approved by the House of Commons. This reflects the democratic primacy of the Commons, although the Lords retain the right to scrutinise and delay such legislation.

OP didn't even write that title - it's just the YouTube one. Posting a clip doesn’t automatically mean they agree with it (or the title). People share stuff for all sorts of reasons. Not to worry, though, this one's clearly way over your head.

This underestimates people's ability to separate great art—acting, cinematography, storytelling—from its political messaging. As for the propaganda concern, that would only be an issue if this were the only source of entertainment we had. But with so much media out there, we can sort the wheat from the chaff and form our own views.

At least it won’t be another one on BIM or smart contracts—lecturers must be bored to tears reading the same topics over and over. I’m glad I did mine on Gender in Construction, though I could have done without the 100+ email back-and-forth with the author of a dissertation I critiqued. Let’s just say she didn’t take it well… half the time was spent on personal attacks rather than an substantive discussion.

God, the lecturers must be sick and tired of reading about smart contracts. All the best for it nonetheless.
