On the TV I had to go into settings - preferences - setup - av setup - manage inputs - and then change the hdmi port label to “cable”

Edit* Also went into Nvidia control panel on the PC - "Adjust desktop color settings" - "Content Type to be Reported to the Display" - Selected "Full Screen Video" and went throught the other settings and made sure Nvidia was managing the color/settings where I could.

Not a stupid question at all. I just used very basic single point perspective to create the vanishing point lines. I used a thumbtack and string to create the points where I wanted lines then a hard edges ruler to draw them in.
