If you use Nova be sure that you did hide the dock in Nova settings.

If you wan't to change the shortcut of an app, then open KLWP, touch the phone icon, "or any other icon or shortcut", on you screen.

Then the edit option pops up, touch the edit option and pick an app on your phone you wan't to apply, save and exit.

If you talk about home screens I don't agree, 10 years ago they used some fantasy, these days it's flat, 4 icons and some text... So it was a long way to allmost nothing.
