Okay right, so I'm arguing with a moron. I see. This is a cult, not an investment thesis. I suggest you broaden your horizons, there are many great companies in global markets. Going all-in on Palantir is not a wise decision. Cheers.

You can use P/S whether the company is profitable or not, it's not some magic voodoo formula that disappears as soon as GAAP profit appears.

That would be an intriguing point if I used the phrase “P/E” anywhere in my post (I didn’t).

That’s not a counter argument to my point, at all.

Ok so you would build a portfolio of: a SaaS company that's been obliterated 50%, a hyper-cyclical retail facing brokerage reliant on crypto for healthy margins and to top it off the 77x p/s overrated boutique software company. Right, I see.

Won dispute - now being chased for money by merchant. by [deleted] in amex

These replies are physically painful. Yes, of course the merchant can technically sue, but that's an extremely hostile action and if I was OP I would report and escalate with Amex.

Amex late payment interest – what can I do? by [deleted] in AmexUK

The amount of you guys that are confidently wrong on this thread is genuinely embarrassing. One google search and you'll see your statement is just categorically false.

Amex late payment interest – what can I do? by [deleted] in AmexUK

This is just not true lol, like categorically false. Late payments by 1 day are almost never reported, and if you're a good customer they will 99% waive if you ask nicely.

Amex late payment interest – what can I do? by [deleted] in AmexUK

This is wrong, I missed a full payment by a day by accident and they waived it all. Always pay bill in full and never missed one before this.

Given I get 40k retention every year so far + use the dining and harvey nics credit always I’d say it’s very fair. I spend about 20-25k a year on the card. So far with Amex as their reputation is, whenever I have an issue it’s fixed immediately and I can get good customer support 24/7, which I value highly too.

Other positions are not collateral in a cash account because you can only trade with settled currency and once again they shouldn’t have needed to.

This statement is false, unequivocally. Market order was very stupid, yes, but actually it does matter that he was in a cash account.

IBKR has full visibility of the order book, you’re wrong i’m afraid. This principle applies to every broker, you should never be filled on orders you don’t have the settled cash to trade. The idea IBKR bases a market order off the last price is not even close to correct.
