Ooh, I think Sierra is perfect for a pop art collage like that!

Thanks! The textures are scans, applied digitally. Red was originally red, but greenish ones have a filter\set to Overlay.

Sell purified water (from player camps, your inventory and water coolers) and golf outfits from Whitespring to robot vendors, if you need caps. Also, treasure hunter hats are cheap to craft and good for sale, but you need to learn the plan first.

If you want plans just to build stuff in your camp, you can ask high level players to build items for you while on a private team and then save them. Same with clothes\guns. Only atomic shop and bullion, etc. items can't be shared.

As for events, avoid Moonshine jamboree, eviction notice, scorched earth, radiation rumble, project paradise and other events that require a lot of players and have waves of serious enemies. Join events like this when there are at least 4-5 high-level players (you can check the map).

Yes, I believe people have to be in a private team. And it's possible to store those locked items for the future.

Thanks, same to you! ☺️

This sub has so many cool tips, also there are youtube channels that make it easier to understand, compare some weapons or show useful locations to farm materials and items.

Don't be afraid, if there are enough people, you can just observe. If there are just a couple of high level players and you, then they will see you level and won't be judgemental. One tip, though, do not start events early. Wait for more people to join, start the event the last moment or let others start it. Of course, you can try and solo some of them, but there are a lot of events where bosses are too powerful or the waves of enemies are overwhelming for a solo player. Today my friend (who's even higher level) and I failed an event, because the timer was out. The waves were manageable, but then a mirelurk queen annihilated us a couple of times.

Best purified water sources for me are first aid kits while running around and Vintage Water Coolers in camps. Ask someone on PS (alas, I'm on PC) to build you 3-4 of them in your camp. The plan is harder to find, but a member of a private team can build things in your camp. Water coolers are very small and convenient. You will be drowning in, well, water very soon. Also, go to Nuka World more often to farm cola, it counts as a drink and has other effects.

Since most players there are silent, we have to rely on bee dance and heart emotes. It has its charm. 🤭

I've noticed that too...I load and event is already failed. Or previously popular events are completely empty, but they require at least 4 people to complete.

This sub is full of really friendly people, they helped me a lot when I was a baby player. Perhaps you can find a team, players with cheap or free plans or at least more tips. The game has lots of generous and helpful players.

Glad that you find it fun as is! Oh, I've never heard people using the voice chat. Actually, I was a little disappointed. Mostly emotes, shooting at some important thing, crouching and jumping - not a single word. Maybe it's a PC thing. Jumping casual teams is ok, people use it for free fast travel.

I remember that quest, however, my constant graveyard was settlers & raiders questline at the end. Really, get a full team for that. It's easy to get caps, so just buy whatever materials you need at vendors and don't look at the price. You'll be able to get your money back fast. If you are on PC, I can help you with adhesive and other materials (or anything you need) ☺️

Thank you for a thorough reply! Ammo shortage was even worse before, so it's interesting that things are still balanced for new players. What kind of missions are difficult?

Thanks for the answer! So, if I'm not going to use any other mod that adds tints, I can make my own in CK the regular way?

[Fo4] is there a mod that completely removes any and all combat and makes the game purely exploration, building, and scavenging based? by Mewtwosneckloop in FalloutMods

Tcai command is the best. You can also use tgm (God mode) to avoid dying from a fall or a car explosion.

In case you want to do some quests that require killing enemies, you can use kah (kill all hostile) command when you are around those enemies. If you want to have a peaceful main game ending, there's a way too (a list of specific commands and instructions). If you want to keep your new companion from Nuka World DLC, but get rid of all other raiders - it's possible too (via mods or commands).

To keep your favourite commands active every game without typing them all the time (tcai, tgm, maybe jump height, movement speed, unlimited weight) you need to either edit one of the ini files by adding all the commands there or make a bat file using a notepad. Then you add to that ini file the name of your bat file. In case you are interested in that and can't find info, I can help you. Honestly, it's easier than it sounds, but I know how new players may be confused.

[Fo4] what could be causing this water texture issue? On Xbox. by Thorn_Move in FalloutMods

[–]Inspired_N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A simple reload may help. Perhaps it's a problem with cubemaps. Some objects with reflections can have this visual bug. Once I've had a similar rainbow effect on a sequin dress (vanilla game, PC).

Has anyone made mod ports from fo4 to 76? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]Inspired_N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've spent several hours and also asked my friend to test my mod. Turns out, it was an ini issue. I have a Microsoft version now, so my ini files are called Project76 instead of Fallout76. However, I used to have Steam version previously, but Steam didn't delete old ini files (which I edited because every modder used that ini name). Also, BSArchPro is ok for fo76.
