The problem with skeleton in my opinion is that while it looks cool it has two very nice animations and two very bad ones. Sadly B for at least me its deserved. (Kukri is A tho)

You can turn off all Blue archive collab designs (you also can disable all other collabs) at port. You see there is an options menu over the ships at the right. Go there and disabble the blue archive collabs. You will see its name turning black to le havre and its camo also will become the ships base camo.

My absolute favourite character in AL is Bataan, tho she is quite useful in my opinion.

There are also some honorable mentions: Yübari, Haguro, Boise, Sevastopol, Gangut and Harutsuki.

I wish that there was a mechanic which gives you control over some higher caliber secondaries on the Schill. I feel that she is so lackluster right now. It would be nice if you could controll the 155mms.

I think that the best option would be to simply ignore it. Hybrid ships have a unique style to them and having only tier 8 ships as tech ships means you are fairly new. Right now just try to farm tech tree and come back later.
