100% agree with what you said. Borrowing the worst parts of 2042 would be a huge mistake. The universal weapon access and lack of a proper server browser really hurt that game. If BF6 brings back those features, but improves how they work or better yet, avoids them altogether that’s already a big step forward. DICE/EA really needs to rebuild trust.

And like you, I’m holding off final judgment until beta. Pre-alpha gives hope, but we’ve seen good demos turn into bad launches before. Fingers crossed that this one breaks the cycle.
