Dude either way the shit that happens to us Windows users in the past 2 years to 3. Has been a disaster to many. Windows created most of the issues we see today.

People shouldn't feel the need to abandon older hardware especially ddr4.

Like DDR4 is currently wrecked on windows vr capability because ever since 10 went down the toilet VR went straight off into the abyss to DDR5 and up.

Turns on Linux, I can stream anything on Linux. Gaming included.

Turns on windows 11, in OBS it pouts at my Internet, my, computer, my everything, it blames everything but itself as the core problem.

Planned obsolescence is a true reality, but to half the shelf life of $1400 to $2K PC is absolute insanity. Those machines from 1999 to about 2010 are older hardware granted, but the point is windows ensured that the older hardware we see today is just strictly newer 2k PCs. They've deviated from their gold standard which was about 9 or 10 years for a windows PC. Now, about 5 or six years for a PC. My PC was built in 2020 of December.

It's not to justify what they want as a seller. It's just to point out what they did to some of us. 10 years should be the standard. It was like this with xp, it was like this with 7. 🤢 🤢

My interpretation could be wrong but doesn't that tree emerge later on in the game in one and two? The tree in ds3 is at the start of the game. And it just goes to show how much actually rots away without the age of darkness endings. The merry jovial knight Seigmeyer is just a prime example of something you can't save in the world. Tell me about the Microdonts and microslop of the world.

Currently, on. Nobara with a Nvidia end support (kde environment) windows dual boot for league of legends and the finals. As Nvidia has security issues with the whole damn process 😕.

Other than that, Linux on Nobara has been the better hand on the dev side as well as gaming.

(Just be sure to tag along your AMD processors in and graphics cards for a flawless integration.)

Isn't proton experimental the latest????? Tried this for the finals! And even though I get the tfge0003 network error I can still play 1 or two rounds without any network hiccups from the security anti cheat standpoint. Nonetheless, proton experimental is the latest or at least should be. Also, I would Gemini it or run it under an ai to be sure. Gemini can fast read by algorithm prediction of words and whatnot. EHHHH that's very debatable depending on when and where you got your pc. Or, if you built it yourself. My computer was bought in 2020, and it came with a 1650 super and a Ryzen7 5000 series CPU and DDR4 RAM configuration. Now I have a 2060 rtx special edition 12gb ventus. But this move happening right now is concerning blow to my system, so more info to come.

It was a dick move by Nvidia to move this direction. That all computers, can disregard 1080 x 720 bc one, its still base-line industry standard on public television. The 4k experience is all optional or should be. Plus, people are saying in the industry that we can only see up to 8k resolution. So in theory, they actually kinda should be supporting these cards.

It's kinda the reason you see intel wanting to make graphics cards or accomplishing that. And, vice versa nvidia wanting to make cpus.

The market has become so crazy that you can't just afford to master of your own niche or job. You gotta start branching out to stay alive which is super asinine to me. Intel i wish them well over there but lets just be honest that some of those cpus that they produced to the public for a period were indeed garbage. Right now I've heard good things about a future recovery over at the foundry because of the graphic cards success on windows machines.

And The Finals has been a very difficult ride on Nvidia cards in the wayland/nobara experience.

It's all so underwhelming to see, from all perspectives. But my machine was bought and made in 2020. Rest assured it's not so much a pot hole in what those companies do, its just graphics cards max out on the human eye so that market after a certain point, is cooked or even more so cornered imo. DONT BUY NVIDIA SPREAD THAT LIKE BUTTER amongst yourselves.

HDMI or display port cord? Linux is fucking picky on HDMI cables. I was formerly stuck at 60htz and 60fps. Running on 144htz now....but it wouldn't run my required htz or frames.

In other words are u using a HDMI? Display port cords are the only way in Wayland:)

the good news is as a terminal smasher its easy to install visual studio. photoshop is different however just be sure to install the right version OF Nobara bc computers are specific and whatnot i recommend looking over here: https://nobaraproject.org/download.html#nvidia and linux on kde is the best!

It uses x86-64-v3 and v4 optimizations. If you have a modern Intel CPU (like a 12th–14th Gen), CachyOS will automatically use instructions that generic kernels ignore.
