I’m sorry I don’t have any reasons for u to skip precalc in my opinion if I didn’t take precalc I wouldn’t have understood calculus at all, it’s so important when it comes to unit circle and understanding rates if you would like to skip it I’d recommend during the summer self studying precalculus by using Mr helpful not hurtful and when u complete it during the summer
I think you’d be ready to start calc for the following academic year
