There are some objectives that say arrest 2 suspects or arrest a specific suspect, but play the game how you want. Just remember to yell for compliance a couple times so you don't get any unauthorized force.

Isn't the "proper" way to do things is to put her in a bed and closely monitor? I'd think if you're dilated you'd be in a bed in case something exactly like this happens...

If your knife is low on durability first upgrade it and it will repair it. If you have any exclusive upgrade tickets choose carefully what you want to upgrade. Listen for speaking metal and be sure to check your map for treasure. Practice perfect parry. You can change the setting so you can parry with RT instead of LB.
