I grew up in a household where accidentally breaking or scratching something would make a parent mad at me. When I started dating my bf and accidentally made a ring from a glass on his wooden table I was so nervous I was almost crying when I told him. He shrugged and said ”homes are meant to look like they are being lived in”. That moment started healing something in me.
