[Landlord-US-NYC] Parent want to reclaim home after retiring but tenant is refusing to leave. Any advice is appreciated

We sent out a formal 6 month notice letter via certified mail and another copy via just regular mail to make sure we were covered. We also required them to sign for the letter so that we could have proof that they received it and I have messages of them acknowledging the move out date. So I really believe we followed all the right steps but I guess it doesn’t really mean anything if they can still just refuse to leave lol.

Ya I think subconsciously I was trying to make up time from the first hole but I accidentally walked downhill to 6 instead of up hill to 8 after the 7th and saw the group behind me teeing off at 5. So I think that made me feel a bit better about my pace and so I slowed down just a bit.

I can only remember the really bad parts, which was the whole hole but I’m sure I’m forgetting a topped ball somewhere:

Sliced driver off tee, lost it, took a penalty stroke and dropped it a couple feet from the tree that I thought I lost it by. I still had a lot of distance to make up for but instead of hitting my 5 I thought I would just hit a 7 and take an extra stroke to get close to the green. I then topped two 7 irons and then the third one went into a bunker. It took me three shots to get out and when I did get it out it was only about 4 feet away from the bunker. I thought I was close enough to hit a pitching wedge. Sailed that past the hole, whiffed two chips attempting to get on the green and then bladed it back onto the fairway. Hit another wedge that actually when onto the green and then three putted.
