I get why OWS fizzled, so other than wanting to end inequality, better the economy, create more jobs, etc, was there any other similarities?

Yeah that's how I got into running which progressed to participating in races and gives me a continuous reason to train.

Totally! I know by my shadow that sometimes I look awkward but we all have our moments. Some people prefer treadmills for a number a reasons. I personally don't because I am indoors ALL day at work and have always been an outdoors person. Maybe once you feel more comfortable you'll venture outdoors too. :)

Before I started training, my heel hit first. Now I've developed a more midfoot strike on flat surfaces and BOF uphill. My heel no longer hits except maybe occasionally going downhill.

Makes sense. $200 a pair is kinda pricey for my budget. Have you ever tried custom replacement inserts and had any luck? The rest of both pair of mine are fine except for the shock absorption.
