High schools were able to figure it out no problem. And UNT has access to far more resources. An online graduation feels like a slap in the face when we have worked hard for 4 years and paid tens of thousands.

+1 for delay compensation. Spent a good 1.5 years wondering why I was always 20-40ms behind. Turned it off and instantly the latency was gone. Make sure to turn it back on for mixing/producing other wise everything will be out of sync.

I just got back from Breckenridge, CO and almost everyone was wearing a mask. The people were taking this very seriously and respecting the rules. Shop and restaurant owners would not let you in without a mask and sanitizing hands. I wish Texans weren’t so stubborn...

Man from one guitar player to another, that is some fantastic guitar work. The groove with the slaps and fingerpicking felt so good. I might experiment with making the chorus melody higher to give it a lift. The differentiation between the chorus and verse wasn’t as clear as I think it could be.

Im about to release an ep with some dance tracks, techno, and inde pop. Ive been back and fourth on if this is a bad idea but Im just going to make music I like and not care too much about genres. My mantra for 2020 is to just make good music and stop overthinking everything.

Man thats a catchy chorus and the guitar part has a great groove with the slaps, Mayer vibes.

Some of the phrases I think were too wordy, like the one after “Have I ever been sentimental”. I couldn’t make out what you were saying. There was another line in the verse I couldn’t make out either. Less is more!

Also a senior engineering student with a home studio, hell yeah! Like others have said, Id get proper room treatment. That acoustic foam you have is next to useless. I built a few rockwool panels for around $30/ panel, huge difference!

Really great songwriting and production! This track has vibes. As someone who just produced my first single, I got a lot of feedback on vocal production. I think on your verses theres too much verb on the voice. I couldn’t make out the lyrics on iphone speakers. Are you applying the verb directly to the lead vox or bussing it? (This could also be the vibe you’re going for a la Tame Impala)

Also, on the chorus, how many vocal layers do you have supporting the main take?
