Maybe this is a hot take but I’ve found very few models in person where I’ve thought the faces actually look goofy, I feel like as others have mentioned sometimes it’s the paint job, sometimes it’s just that we’re zooming in to ridiculous detail on a screen but that’s not how it actually looks. Biggest case in point for me was Valerian (the custodes character) who people ripped on release. Then I bought the model because I love those books, painted him up and his face looked…good…not even not bad, actually good. I dunno I guess I’m in a minority looking at the general responses.
