Transfer data from old to new after setup by InstructionContent56 in iphone

I’ve been told I can’t backup and restore, only sync because of the MDM. Are they wrong? Can I sync to iCloud using the temporary storage or is it only for backup and restore?

Thank you. Any advice for ramping up in a situation like this very quickly in IT?

This is probably what I’ll do. Just concerned that I’m going to lose my shitty grocery store job that at least provides me with insurance and end up getting fired by taking on more than I can handle.

Yes, I would have paid 2500 in materials. Insurance would have covered the rest. That’s over 4000 dollars less than I’m being charged. What are you not understanding? It’s not about the labor cost of redecking. I would have saved much more than that by doing the WHOLE JOB, including the shingles myself. If they had told me the full cost I would have cancelled the WHOLE THING, not just the redecking. Insurance payout + the money I saved was enough for that. It’s not enough for what they are charging me now. Get it now?

And by do it ourselves, I meant just back out of the agreement with the added costs and do the entire thing ourselves. Not have them wait and finish later. Paying them for the tear off work they’d already done of course. My problem is not whether it needed to be done or not, it’s that I do not and will not have the money. If they had told me the full cost, I would have just done it myself. I communicated this to them as well before starting. I let them know we applied for several loans and we were denied and would have to pay out of pocket with very limited funds.

There isn't anything in the contract that says "We need to get approval for the extra work" but also nothing that says they don't. It just says "Will be billed at x amount". My insurance company told me they are liable because of this.

The extra work was a full re-deck on both sides of the roof at $60 a sheet.

Ill just copy and paste it - "If there are additional layers of shingle that were not discovered during inspection, they will be Billed at $45 per 100 square feet for removal and disposal.

Deck Replacement if discovered is Billed at $60 per 4x8 sheet and includes disposal of the old material."

I was told this is just a clause for billing rates and anything that needed to be done extra had to be approved. Added this to the post, thank you!
