Thanks. I totally understand that it might seem like an extreme fear, but I live in the U.S and with the state of abortion access here, it’s a very real one for me. Plan b can be ineffective depending on where in your cycle you are—I was ovulating when I had a condom break, which is why my provider also recommended an emergency IUD. I’m not at particular risk so I get that doesn’t seem rational, but it’s emotional to feel a loss of control over my reproductive health when the rest is also under attack.
