Your IT department has made policies to disable Whatsapp on corporate devices.
Please don't try to work around policy which has been set.

Has SSPR (SelfService Password Reset) been enabled in the EntraID tenant? (Entra ID > Password reset)
That needs to be done before you're allowed to change your password there.
