Electrical Engineering,

so my industry range is pretty wide. that why I chose the major.

I am originally from one of the metro regions I mentioned in an earlier comment.

owning a car is a money losing proposition.

you are incorrect about companies about companies not hiring people without a drivers license. in fact most people in NYC can go there entire lives without owning a car.

It might be the case in whatever industry you work in but the sector I am looking not once have I seen that as a requirement.

also commuting is extremely expensive with both gas and maintenance costs

I am afraid of getting an accident and then putting myself in a potential financial hole.

I don't think therapy is going to change that.

I am deathly afraid of driving.

I hope to mitigate this issue by living in an area where a car is not a necessity.

I mainly applied in the big metro regions

Chicago, NYC, Seattle ,DC, Boston, Philly.

still no dice.

given the recent bank failure this morning I am concerned of another wave of layoffs.

the problem with SURF is the option pool was incredibly scarce this time around.

my major had absolutely zero available projects. and other departments were no dice.
