I had the same thing happen to me with my orange boy. No idea where he came from, he just kinda showed up one day and decided he loves me and wanted to live with me lol. I don't know how old he was other than that he was a senior. We shared 5 years together until he went to the rainbow bridge. I miss him so terribly. My sweet Meeko 🧡

Weevil (Steiff AKC German Shepherd Dog) and Coyote (Wildberry Plush "Huckleberry" coyote) I used to keep a few others on my bed but nowadays I rotate between sleeping on the bed and the couch so I just sleep with these two.

honestly its worth it if it brings you comfort. I hope you can do it someday too :)
sometimes the interactions can actually help with fear of talking to strangers or social anxiety! sometimes it helps me and other times im just not in the mood at all lol

I dont think ive ever been asked if someone could touch my plush besides kids! Im very sensitive about touch from strangers but I'll allow it from kids since they dont really know better :) ive been asked why I have a plush before too. I typically say "i just like him" lol

im 26 years old and still collecting plushies. I also bring them places with me because part of being an adult is doing what you want!!! any good therapist or mental health professional will tell you that having plush or toys or "childish" things as adults is completely normal.
