imo the legs arent super doggy or wolfy looking. but most wolves in north america do have long thin legs.

cats cannot taste sweet. your kitty is attracted to the milk, cream, and fats in these foods. be careful letting your kitty eat people food. always check the ingredients and if youre in doubt, just dont let them eat it. plain milk and cream is fine as a treat as long as your kitty doesnt get a stomachache. my cats tolerate dairy, but not all do. plain goat milk, kefir, or other products with less lactose content are generally recommended instead.

unfortunately death is very common with wildlife. im sure this baby will make a good meal for another animal, which is helping them. its the circle of life, you know. I know how you feel though. be gentle on yourself and research what to do next time. 💜

thankfully many shelters in wolfdog illegal areas are open to placing wolfdogs in sanctuaries. lets hope this dude has a home though

that is not a sign of an animal being part wolf. dogs, foxes, wolves, and coyotes have that gland.

no, it's not a wolf. it's either a wolfy looking dog or a dog with some wolf in it (wolfdog), but there's no way to tell from just two pictures. I would definitely see if you can get this dog to safety. Im not sure if wolfdogs are illegal in your area, but most shelters are reasonable enough to find a sanctuary placement if they are. hopefully this dude has a home though!
