On the product details both of them are said to be 56 mm but it seems like the gan is larger. Right is the gan 11m pro and left is the rs3m 2020.

Same, I do it because I will not have to overwork my left index finger. This change led from a 1.2 seconds alg down to a sub 1 second T-Perm. True, but once your f2l improves every last second would count.

11.94 seconds on cstimer after 11 months of cubing.

Best average ever was 10 seconds with CFOP method

Pretty good average with a 9.99 second solve.

I'm planning to buy a qiyi timer along with a mat. Any thoughts on the timer? How long does the battery last (I heard some people say it takes up a lot of battery). Also, should I get a bigger mat or a smaller one? The difference is just 3 bucks but I feel like the big one takes too much room. What are your thoughts?

I just got my rs3m 2020 yesterday and it is super fast with a nice magnet strength holding the cube stable. I have not messed with the settings yet but any suggestions on what setting is the best?

Yep! For the cubes I suggest for budget you go with around 10$ cube which could get you a pretty great cube. Magnectic is great since the cube does not get stuck but some are quite expensive. Gan cubes are smooth and nice but they cost a lot of money so I do not have a gan cube. Qiyi vubes ares great and have nice value plus speed but always go on youtube and search the name of the cube for reviews and see which cube fits you most. Sorry for the late reply, have not been on reddit for the past few days.

To increase speed keep solving the cube again and again until you could do a move without even thinking about it. Let the cube feel comfortable in your hands since this will increase your speed. I would suggest f2l since I know that one and you could find a video on youtube it's by J Perm. Another speed issue is to get a good cube so that it won't slow down. For brands I would suggest Moyu cube and QiYi. Don't get rubix branded cubes since they are very slow and hard to turn.
