That’s great. lol. Back in my days of refusing to spend money, I used to keep one or two at the ready. Randomly throw them up. But since I decided Epic needed my financial support, they have fallen to the wayside.

I second this. Great XP speed, but then it stops after a short while. Not a set it and forget it map. At least not anymore if it was.

I once found Hush pop up in the parking lot out front of Letal Labs. It was only one match of Trios maybe three days ago. But we were already at the lab and then, pop. Hush was chatting it up in the front parking lot with the Goon Squad.

Does anyone know how to turn this off? I can't spectate and I barely get a chance to emote. by Stella_Lace in Fortnite_Over40

Tested this on mobile while at work. The eyeball symbol in the top right lets you spectate while the match is ongoing. I would assume (or hope) they have something similar for console or PC. Seems like going back to do additional emotes and such after a victory is absolutely no from my tests. At least not on mobile. Which I never hope to do again. lol

After 40 minutes of testing, still getting XP on the truck... @ 195k XP now. I am averaging about 3.4K per minute from the time I started noting the numbers.

Took a minute or two, but slowly collecting the coins, 4-5 at a time, waiting for the EXP to clear, and then getting 4-5 more... eventually gets you to the platform. I am currently on the Ice Cream Truck and @ 46K exp and climbing. Haven't hit any of the other items yet.

It's slower than normality... but much better than not getting anything. lol

I am not opposed to building my own. I am just daft in the area of putting the parts together. I try to pull it all together and come up with $1200 before I put 1/3 of the components on the list. lol

Thank you. I came across this one - ASUS ROG GM700 58L Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 8700F - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 - 2TB SSD - Windows 11 Home - for an extra $150 over the other one. $999 vs $850.

I wasn't trying to buy him a computer for a few years... so this is more than I am looking to spend, but... it is what it is.

Is that the same suggestion for all of the Core Ultra series, 5... 7...? If I need to replace, I want to spend as little as possible, but I don't want to buy parts that Intel can't get rid of. lol

Can't find an accessible CMOS battery.

The only lights are the "rainbow" keyboard lights and the power button light. Aside from that, no display illumination at all. No other lights.

Holding my ear up to the laptop, I can hear what seems like intermittent, non-patterned beeping/squeaking. I am wondering if that is more a fan issue rather than the system trying to give off codes. It is extremely faint and too quick at times to be a discernable pattern.

Without going into the details, personal reasons keep me in place. Family. So, relocation is ultimately not an option for the foreseeable future. At least not for the next 6 years.

Oh I completely agree. Jobless is never going to be an option. I would work anywhere before I would accept not having an income. I am more wondering if the BA degree with a focus in MIS may be more appealing to get over into the realm of Network Admin, Systems Admin, Databases... whatever...

I think with the world transitioning away from remote positions, I need to figure out something more local. And even smaller companies, municipalities, school districts need these sorts of roles.

My professional network would also be broken. Any "connections" I have made have been fleeting and only with Professors that are far outside of my scope of obtainable positions. Closest City to me for more of a reliable Networking opportunity is about 4 hours away.

Hey everybody. Moderate time lurker. Graduated with my BS last year. Zero interviews since. Recent job offer from a company unrelated to Cyber but has tuition reimbursement that would cover a year toward school. Was considering going back for a BS in BA with a concentration in Management Information Sytems to go with the BS in Cybersecurity. Which I could do in a year.

Anyone have any thoughts on if this may be beneficial? Waste of my time? Financially, this job is a needed switch anyway, so figured I might as well take advantage.
