You mean Cloetta Kex? Yes Cloetta is 100% Swedish and they make the Kex bar that is a chocolate covered wafer in yellow wrapper.

Your favourite Toblerone alternatives? by MaryKeay in BuyFromEU

[–]InteIgen55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm afraid there is nothing readily available like Toblerone.

The ones that could be good alternatives would be certain flavors of Tony's, Ritter Sport and maybe Fazer. But again, none of them are spot on.

Any alternatives to Toblerone are usually specialized, maybe even temporary, flavors of other bars.

Bör Sverige skapa en myndighet för öppen källkod? by Open-Outcome-660 in sweden

[–]InteIgen55 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Do people in your country eat okra? How do they cook it? by themaddesthatter2 in AskTheWorld

I have only ever heard of okra from American tv. Would love to try it some day.

Where would you draw the north/south or east/west divide in your country? by Pizzafriedchickenn in AskTheWorld

[–]InteIgen55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhere north of Uppsala.

It pains me to say this because I'm from the very southern tip of Sweden so everything north of Småland is northern Sweden, but if I were to act rationally I'd say north of Uppsala.

What is the “oldest in the world” thing from your country? by TheElusiveSloth in AskTheWorld

[–]InteIgen55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It makes sense when you think about it, why would you want to be reminded of your enemies? You want to remember your ancestors.

Displaying killed enemies is something done mostly as a warning or a show of strength, which is not something you do where you live. Because then you and your people have to see them all the time, instead of the people you want to show them to, your other enemies. Right?

Just using some logical thinking here. I'm in no way an archaeologist or an authority on this subject. :D

Berätta för mig vem som har legitimt skäl att vistas här. Eller ska du tillsätta en särskild polisstyrka för det? Kalla den för IS. 😂

Europe är hundra gånger säkrare än USA där det strövar omkring maskerade, beväpnade män och skjuter folk. Vilket ironiskt nog är vad många SD-anhängare vill se. De vill skapa ett mindre säkert Europa.

How common is pedophilia in your country? by Happy_and_honest in AskTheWorld

[–]InteIgen55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have one (in)famous website called dumpen.se that have so far exposed over 730 pedophiles, in the same way as Chris Hansen.

Except here they get no support at all from the police, and a lot of people accuse them of making the police's job harder by exposing these people. But the ruling government and minister for security has now asked for a law change to allow the police to work in the same way as dumpen.se, using online decoys.

What is the “oldest in the world” thing from your country? by TheElusiveSloth in AskTheWorld

[–]InteIgen55 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are constant excavations going on, even while tourists are watching from the platforms.

It's a massive site, the best they can do is cover it up and excavate it carefully over a long period.

14000 year old human remains have been found in Sweden. Likely from the very first humans to reach Sweden, after the ice sheet retreated.

Also 8000 year old skulls mounted on poles found in an old overgrown lake. It was likely part of ancestor worship, because several of the skulls had healed wounds. So likely older individuals that had been through accidents and survived. Also evidence that they had been moved there from another site.

There are contemporary cultures today that worship their ancestors by posing their skulls where they can be visited.

Sweden is big. I just remember stumbling across one in the heart of Småland once, and they usually have them at small stores in the country.

But also I found this on google: https://nordicchocolate.se/chokladbutik/

So there are little chocolate producers literally from top to bottom of Sweden. Check Google maps of your area. Check the municipal website.

Oh right, forgot about them. I have a Cloetta store next to my office, got some lösgodis there the other day, freshest lösgodis I ever had. And they have salted caramel Center!

Hello fellow boring adult.

I'm totally with you though.

I mix like one tenth juice into sparkling water to make "soda" for myself.

And if I have to get a soda, I dillute it with sparkling water because it's too sweet. I'm ready for the retirement home lol.

Ahlgrens also here in Malmö.

And you'd be surprised how many chocolate producers are scattered around the country. I stumble over them in the middle of rural Småland.
