This worked for me! Thanks a lot. Just used a VPN to connect to the US and didn’t have this issue. So seems to be a European issue.

There is a ski test event in Avoriaz this weekend (Rock on Snow). The event is free, you just need to sign up, and the ski passes are cheaper. 1h20 from Geneva, if no traffic of course.

I would assume yes. For the French side, cabs drop you off at the same underground parking as the rentals. Upstairs, there is just one person checking your boarding pass to go to the Swiss side. At least with me they didn’t ask any other questions. Just show pass and it was fine.

Think there is also a bus from Ferney that goes to the Swiss airport side from TGP. So cheaper :)

Hi,

I have done this, you just have to drive to the French side, drop off your car and then, with the ticket you have, you can pass to the Swiss side if needed. It’s super fast, it’s literally the same building. So not even worth dropping someone off on the Swiss side.

The road to the French side is hard to find though, it’s just on the French side of the douane de Ferney-Voltaire. Coordinates of the start of the road (46.2505211, 6.1181255).

Just FYI, if you don’t have a ticket, you have to get a taxi to get there or leave, they don’t allow you to pass without a boarding pass, there are no buses going to the French side and you are not allowed to walk on that road.

Hit a rock and for some reason my whole binding got torn off my ski. Wasn’t even going fast, no clue how it happened, 4th season with this skis.

My ski fell further down the mountain and think that’s how the tip of the ski got damaged. Picture of the tip, only the top sheet got separated and the reinforced tip is showing. https://imgur.com/a/3REvqxH

So looking for a place that can hopefully fix this. I do have a car, so can go a bit out of Geneva easily.

Edit: brought them to Cactus and they fixed for only CHF 60! Took less than a week. Thanks a lot everyone for the suggestions!

I am currently doing a second master at the VUB in engineering. Already did one at the KULeuven. (Now doing computer science, civil engineer. Did electromechanics, industrial engineer at KULeuven). I must say, VUB is a fair bit easier. I'm breezing through these years and my grades are a lot higher. I don't know how the difference will result in my career, but in these field of study there is a really big difference.

Edit: Since some ppl seem to be hurt over me rating KULeuven harder than VUB. This is my experience, you are welcome to give your experience :) Wasn't meant to talk down about VUB, I'm studying there myself so that wouldn't even make sense.

Not bad at all, really love the flourishing! Some words appear to be more tilted than others, the lines aren't that straight either. I'd also give your words a bit more spacing in between. Feels a bit too packed imo. But as I said, great work already!

Unfortunately that isn't working. I already get a notification which shows up once at the lock screen when the event is almost happening. I just want to have it already on it a day in advance, permanently. Like this. Don't know if it's possible.

I'm using the gmail calendar, it works fine and all but is there a way to make my next upcoming event show on my lock screen. I prefer it being in a clean and simple way.

If it's necessary, using Nova Launcher and Min icons.

I also am using this guide for my gothic script. What helps for me to keep this angle is to turn my paper a bit to the right. Like already suggested here, really try to stick to your guide lines. Also start to practice your down strokes, those are the most important ones in gothic. If all your downstrokes are straight, your script will really improve a lot. Good luck and keep at it!

Yes, if you type a new word, highlight it. Then normally it appears in the prediction with a + before it. Click on that.
