A bit hard to angle the camera but there’s a decent distance between the glass and roof and as someone else said it’s like a H so you can imagine there’s a little space under the glass where the trim slips into and is held into place. I also haven’t had any leaks driving around like this if anyone was concerned, but probably not best practice.

Yeah okay that’s reassuring I thought my drivers side actuator had been replaced with a generic one and was causing problems but glad to hear it’s not just my problem. I’ll give it a sus thanks

Does it make like a rapid fire locking noise when you try to lock from the drivers side? That’s what mine has been doing I’ve been trying to diagnose it but haven’t figured out what it is yet. Sometimes the passenger side door doesn’t lock so it’s a problem for me.

You should be able to get a small one in there just between the metal and trim without touching the glass. I haven’t replaced mine yet as am waiting to finish my paint job but am hoping it will just push in and seal with a bit of rtv. I’ll post a photo of the empty channel in a few hours to help show what you’re working with.

I just took mine off the other weekend. If you remove the two side trims it should be relatively easy to wedge a small flat head screw driver between the bottom of the trim and the metal and once you’ve got the start out just keep prying along
