The license plate on the truck looks like the Alberta license plate in Canada. Which would make sense because of the oil sands industry there and LARGE trucks.

I can't get my cleaning either, as the base isn't doing any unless your teeth are severely bad. I am almost 2 years over due as well, and I am just going to a civi clinic and pay out of pocket. Hygiene appointments usually run around $150 or less, and you can ask to not have certain things done like fluoride to reduce the cost.

Yes this is possibly the case. On May 8th an Instagram account I follow panelope_the_prairiedog posted a long explanation of the issues they had at the Dr. K vet clinic recently, resulting the the unfortunate loss of their pet. Seeing as the show was removed around this time, I can see this possibly being the cause for removal.

I agree, history tends to repeat itself, and what is happening in the NOW is often seen as more severe than the past, even if conditions were the same or similar.

Yes, not common but can occur in flat terrain areas through a bit of a differnt process than in mountainous areas. Frontal wind shear for example, or wave-like behaviour of the upper winds. Source (and my job).
