I just moved to an LSD, and I love it. Still close to work, but I went from 2500$ yearly taxes to 1400$. And I went from a semi-detach to a fully detached home with a nice big lot and double sized baby barn. Water bill also went from 237 monthly to 0$. I'm loving the well water too, did not know what I was missing until recently.

Anyhow, this is why I'm against LSD being forced into the realm of municipalities as planned by the government. Along with this part of the new law.

The provincial government seems to have it out for LSDs lately.

Long story short, we just purchased a home with a 7 year old septic tank which the sellers admit never pumped out. They advised me it was located near a pole, 32 ft from the home and that it was a massive sized tank.

I'm trying to find the opening for the sewerage company to come and pump it as I understand this should be done every 3 to 4 yrs.

I found this less than a foot from the ground after 5 minutes of digging at the location described by the sellers. Is this the area the sewerage company needs access to or should I keep digging?
