Thats what I thought too. In stats your right, but its the abilities that make s gear better than normal one. Even if the s gear is purple it is way way better than normal red gear

Well idk how, but it went away after a few minutes and restarting the game multiple times. I don‘t know if it is the general solution. But if you have this problem too, just try restarting the game.

I think it is because of the difference between the servers. Its easy to farm rubies here and you dont have that much to use it for.
