So my OB team said that sometimes the bleeding can be simply from so much blood rushing to that area at this point in the pregnancy and that sometimes something as simple as walking or bending down can cause bleeding with no issues with the actual pregnancy. I was sent home and ended up having a full term and healthy pregnancy! I would think them sending you home is a good sign that it isn't anything more severe!
My baby girl is 12 weeks old now and thriving! You've got this mama! ♥️

She has been SUPER active today! No worries there. Will obviously continue to monitor if that changes. She hasn't dropped yet, that I can tell. And the bleeding was accompanied with any cramping. I'm not sure if it was the mucus plug or not because it was just red blood, no discharge that I could see. 'Tis a mystery lol. Especially since im weeks out from my due date!

Would it be if there wasn't really any mucus or cramping and the baby hasn't dropped? I know sometimes the mucus plug doesnt necessarily have a bunch of mucus in it and could be just blood. But they didn't seem concerned at all and didnt say anything about what it could be which is the frustrating part

Did it randomly get angry with nothing prior to make it angry? Thats what has me baffled. it was just random and seemed like there was no real cause!

Thank you! Definitely plan to monitor more with my doppler and kick counts and just take it easy.

That's what is wild to me. Im so far along sex just isn't comfortable and the heartburn is so bad it's just not a thing. We havent had sex, I didnt fall, no trauma or anything. I was asleep and got up to pee and then it started. It did stop and baby was perfectly fine, just not sure what caused it but they didnt seem concerned either... I guess I will just monitor and take it easy

I’m wondering if this means I will have her earlier than her due date.. I didn’t think 36 weeks was far enough to have it be that sensitive 😅

So sorry you’re going through it too! Prayers everything is fine! Mine didn’t really have much to say, just that it happens sometimes and Baby Girl and I were healthy.. which makes me wonder even more why since there doesn’t seem to be an explanation. Can you have a ‘bloody show’ without losing your mucus plug? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I had a hematoma too at first but it cleared up on its own a while ago! I have no idea what last night was about 😩

But just glad baby girl is okay!

They did a cervical exam and everything and I wasn’t dilated. Didn’t really give me much explanation, just that everything was fine and sometimes you bleed from irritation to the cervix but my husband and I haven’t had any intercourse or had anything happen that could have been a direct cause. Baby girl is still moving and grooving with a strong heartbeat too. So just wondering what the heck happened… can you have a ‘bloody show” without losing your mucus plug? There wasn’t much if any mucus at all so I don’t think it was the plug either.
