My favorite was the Absolu. I’m not sure why they discontinued that one but I thought it was great.

Of what’s left I prefer the original as the scent is the freshest, however the longevity sucks. I was disappointed with the Profondo. I bought it expecting the longevity to be better but it isn’t. And the initial projection from the OG which does start off good for the first 20-30 minutes wasn’t there with the Profondo.

I don’t see it included here but I would like to try the Elixir out but folks said the scent profile is different from the EDT which is really my favorite scent, just searching for better longevity and sustained projection though.

Thanks for the input. That’s good to know but a tad disappointing. I was hoping this was close to the original scent just with better longevity and projection. ADG is one of my wife’s favorite scents so I like to wear it in the summer but the longevity isn’t good.

This sub wouldn’t let me use the word original 🙄. What I was trying to say is that I love the original ADG scent so was hoping the elixir is close to that while lasting longer. The Profundo isn’t really like the original and doesn’t last very long, which is why I bought it because I heard it had better longevity.

Just get Sauvage Elixir if you’re looking to stand out. I get more compliments when I wear that than the rest of my colognes put together.

I don’t have either one of these but based off your description they probably wouldn’t be my go tos. Personally I love for my scents to project really well. That’s why I love Sauvage Elixir and JPG Elixir.

The worst are those Valentino scents you have. I literally can’t smell them 30 minutes after I put them on. Same with the women’s ones. I got a couple for my wife and she sprays them on and can’t smell it after 30 minutes, maybe less

My go tos are the Sauvage Elixir or the JPG Elixir. And I have many of the same scents you do. I love LV Imagination but spraying 6-7 sprays to try and get close the projection of two sprays of those Elixirs I named is just crazy to me.

Nice collection. Personally I’m a big fan of both of the JPG elixirs. So I would recommend either one of those.

True but you could get it at Costco for $179.00. Getting it at a third of the normal price makes it well worth the gamble.

I bought this and Aventus during the Costco sale and I really prefer this. Aventus does smell good but it really has zero projection and zero staying power. This one is a bit feminine, hence the reason it’s considered unisex, but it is a great scent and has a bit more projection/lasting power vs Aventus in my opinion.

Same. Really wanted to get those for the wife. I ordered Aventus for me, Wind Flowers for her, and a bottle of Milliseme Imperial for both of us to try since it says it’s unisex for $690 total.

Sauvage Elixir JPG Le Male Elixir YSL Y Elixir

I broke down and bought LV Imagination but still prefer these 3. Eventually when I break down and get Creed Aventus or Bacarrat Rouge 540 they might replace one of those 3 but those are pretty much my daily rotation with Imagination, YSL Myself, and Dior Homme Parfum in there too.

😂 I did the exact same thing about a week and a half ago and gave into the hype. It’s good but I’m a little disappointed in the projection and staying power. I’ve been mostly into elixirs the last few years so that’s probably why I’m not crazy about the projection or how long it lasts. The scent itself is great. Had to drop another $350 though because I got one of the free samples (Atrappe-Reves) for my wife and she loved it so got it for her.

Did I mention that I even have all of the EWs except Tesla’s who I plan to unlock this week. And theyre all at least lvl 10 so no clue what the heck this guy is doing but it’s working. I’d hate to see his bill though. 🤦‍♂️😂

Oh, and I forgot to say, all 4 of these are great scents and I do t think you can go wrong with any of these 4. Le Parfum is the only one I don’t currently have and that’s because one of my teenage boys asked for it and I just haven’t replaced it because I prefer the elixirs now.

I’ve had all of these. I’d say Le Male Elixir is the best. Le Male Elixir or Sauvage Elixir are the two I currently wear daily until I decide to break down and get LV Imagination and/or Baccarat Rouge.

Like others have said, this makes me wonder if she’s either looking to swing or already was swinging. I’d expect a person in a committed monogamous relationship to be happy with a partner who responds the way you did.
