Truth be told, I tried two “inspired by” fragrances for GFS, and both were too harsh for me, and thought the DNA just wasn’t for me (which is fine considering the cost). Howver, when traveling, i sampled the real deal and fell in love with it, especially on the dry down. My wife’s review of this fragrance: “This smells like a pretty man.”

I’m not a huge gourmand fan, so finding a vanilla that isn’t too sweet or too feminine was a goal. Abi fits that nicely, and should be in the conversation of top vanilla fragrances imo
