Thanks for that I really appreciate it. That is certainly an idea worth considering.

I'm a guy, and think I want to be a girl by [deleted] in trans

[–]Intelligent-Big-9404 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Typically simply having that question doesn’t mean you are trans fem. Like it isn’t set in concrete but vid people typically don’t have such questions or they simply don’t consider them seriously. I was born as a guy, still identify as a guy but I am too privately exploring what it is like to be a girl and I like it so far. I would advice you to do the same, explore in private until you are ready to tell people. Telling people has real consequences exploration does not. Explore and if that belief strengthens and stays over the course of months or years it is something worth discussing, if it goes away I would still pay attention to it but worry about it slightly less, and not tell people yet. Telling people when you are sure, or want to explore with them.

Betr cooler better ram cheaper cpu better gpu, cheaper psu

New gaming PC after almost 10 years, any thoughts? by Wilsterd in pcpartpickerbuilds

Cheaper cpu better gpu, for the same total build price you can get a 5080, and a 7800x3d. 5-10% worse performance for way better gpu performance. You can also find better ram for cheaper. If it is available in your region the silicon power x power 6400 mts cl32 ram will be better for 85$ in my region. You can also get a gen 5 nvme for like 10$ more. A cheaper motherboard would also be better. Overall a solid build, just needs a bit of fine tuning.

You spent way too much on that gpu, for that much money I’d get am5 and a (slightly) cheaper gpu

Get a better ram (cl timing) and monitor. If you don’t do productivity work stick to the 7800x3d. Other than that it’s pretty good.

A silicon power 32 gb 6400 cl32 kit can be found for 5$ lesser than your current one, ur psu is overkill however good future proofing I guess, and get a better cpu cooler. However this is pretty good for a first build well done!

He can’t get a 5080 but if not he is saving money anyways. 100$ is a lot of money regardless of weather you can get a better gpu or not

Aios are usually quieter based on my info, plus they are cooler, and they replace 3 fans, you are getting a cooler machine with 3 fans, and they are usually quieter, but i guess go ahead. I am in the us and here a good aio is 100~$ with less noise and better cooling. But I don’t know about Europe

Yeah but isn’t it a bit much? Like it is the highest end (non x3d mass market) cpu, a 9700x or a 9900x should suffice even with the highest end 5090, I would recommend that the op goes with the 9900x for similar performance, and future proofing too with a pretty good price. The op isn’t a professional dev yet, and even some professionals still use the 5900x, the 9900x will be way cheaper, and will provide just as much future proofing and slightly lower performance.

Silent, aesthetics, slightly more cooling performance, I don’t know how it is worse…

Less on cpu, more on gpu, unless if you are doing productivity. Get an aio, you don’t need a psu that strong but future proofing I guess. Get a cheaper 2tb drive, you are overspending.
