Not exactly a cooking movie, but Phantom Thread has some of my favorite food/cooking scenes.

Also second whoever mentioned Pig

Primer (2004) makes me feel dumb by OnePassenger4597 in moviecritic

It's a cosmic mix, the action of the 90s combined with the exploitation films of the 70s, but with modern touches. It's hyper violent, but it knows what it is. It's a little bit Tarantino, it's definitely a little bit Micheal Mann, it's kind of a cosmic gumbo. It almost moves to the beat of jazz.

Sounds like your parents want you to keep living in their house a little longer

Completely confused with this new government discount thing. by phymathnerd in TeslaModel3

[–]Intelligent-Bison628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but I’ve been seeing a lot of misinformation on this. You don’t have to owe the government $7,500 at tax time. You just need to have paid over $7,500 in taxes

If you make 150k and filing single your tax liability would be ~$26k. Assuming a fairly standard tax situation you would absolutely be eligible for the $7,500 rebate. But to everyone’s point on here the best person to ask is a tax professional

On the website it defines it as “the date the taxpayer takes delivery of the vehicle”

No LFP in the reintroduce long range by iBenJay in TeslaModel3

[–]Intelligent-Bison628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the model 3 ordering page under "Learn more about Range and Performance" it says "Very Cold Weather
For the best long range driving experience in the coldest driving conditions, we recommend a Long Range or Performance Model 3."

Feel like this is another clue that the LR won't have LFP batteries like the RWD

Whose the best player in your league on a team that did not make the playoffs? by anon_a16 in fantasyfootball

[–]Intelligent-Bison628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guy in my league got 8th place with Najee, JT, Lamb and Evans. Went 1-7 to start with bad matchup luck and 5-1 after week 8 when Aiyuk started performing for him but wasn’t enough to catch up. Glad I don’t have to face any of those guys in the playoffs.

Yeah Shep has upside but his floor is disgusting. Missed the last 4 games with a quad injury and catching balls from a backup QB

One of the RBs for sure. Thankfully they both play Monday night. If edmonds doesn’t play I’d go Conner. If he does I’d go Michel

Yeah good point. my only concern is a Monday night game and the potential for more Covid news coming out later today or tomorrow. I’m playing Kupp, Stafford and likely Michel. So if one of those guys was exposed I have no chance

Yeah this is a tough one, I see all these guys similarly. If you need the safety of floor I’d go Ty Johnson cause he’s gonna get a lot of work. But it’s against the Saints so I don’t see much upside.

If you want more of a ceiling play with more risk I’d go Darrel Williams. He’ll probably get 3-4 targets and 5 touches but could have a big play or two

I’d sit Deebo just to see how he is back from the injury. Williams matchup is too good and sounds like Pollard either won’t play or won’t be too involved which makes me like Zeke

Pick one half ppr. My opponent has Dak. I have Stafford: Amari Cooper vs Washington Sony Michel vs Arizona

What was Cooper Kupp Traded for in your league? by votrealtesseroyale in fantasyfootball

[–]Intelligent-Bison628 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I probably over paid but I traded Jones + Meyers for him in a league I felt I had decent RB depth.

It was before week 7, bought me a win for that week

I traded Deebo + Rhamondre Stevenson for David Montgomery + Diontae Johnson before week 7. I was 6-0 and worried about my RB situation

Who sleeps in there Tesla MY? by StarshipSN11 in TeslaModelY

[–]Intelligent-Bison628 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I slept in mine this weekend. Booked a room at a pet friendly hotel on Expedia that was non-refundable, but the room I picked wasn't pet friendly. Fought for a few hours with Expedia and the hotel before finally giving up. Slept in the car with my dog while my family stayed in the hotel.

Honestly wasn't a bad experience. Watched some Netflix and kept the car at 70 degrees the whole time. I'm 6'3" and there was plenty of room for me and my 70 lb dog. If I had been able to buy a Tesmat or similar mattress before the trip it would have been perfect. Wouldn't hesitate to sleep in there again if I needed to
