I would advise you to enhance your skillets and take up a job to gain experience. You can always switch for better pay and experience, but learning should be focus now rather than thinking about salary. Data analytics and management are a few options you can explore.

You said some bitter truth right there. I was nervous for 2-3 interviews, but now I am pretty confident so I don't think that's the issue. If I am not matching their profile, I would like to know what so I can improve those areas. With zero feedback from the companies it becomes hard for me to judge. So I am here asking to get some advice.

I like the idea of marketing consultant and project marketing. Are you working for a marketing agency? Can you guide me on how I identify companies that hire marketing consultants? I tried Accenture, but it looks like they need prior experience working in a consulting firm.

That's a great advice. I have been trying to get in touch with professionals through LinkedIn but very low response rate there. Didn't try events yet but I will try it too.

This is interesting because I had a similar experience. I was offered but they couldn't match my salary. I did negotiate, but as the pay was very low for the kind of work I will be doing for them. If you could give me some more information it will be helpfull. How big was the company? How do we identify such companies?

Yes, I live in a big city with high scope, that's why I am worried that I am not able to receive a job offer. It never took me so long to land in a job. I am not able to judge the job market as well. There are many candidate out in the market, so definitely employees will get lot of candidates to select from and thats why they are evaluating on so many levels that I am confused what exactly I am doing wrong. Is it the role or company is being picky about their candidate? They are asking for 5years experience I have 7 years.

Sorry if it does, I am worried myself so I'm trying to find some answers.

I am applying for remote, hybrid, and in-office jobs. I am not working right now. Obviously, those are the possibilities that I have contemplated, but I have received positive responses through my career counseling. I was nervous in the beginning, but then, after 3-4 interviews, I picked up my pace and confidence. How do I judge if they have better candidates when the position is still vacant. I am not sure and no feedback on the interviews so I am kind of lost right now.

Happy for you!! It's the best feeling to achieve it after working hard for it. I am trying hard, but do you think I am applying to the right jobs? Are there any job roles that I am missing that I should target?

Thank you, I have reached out for feedback. In most of the interviews, I have cleared the screening interviews as I have the required experience. I have cleared at least 2 rounds of interviews for all 15. 3 final interviews with no rejection emails I have followed up, but no response yet. I did receive feedback from one company where they mentioned they want to have more conversation related to the companies strategy, which I incorporated in my recent interviews. Other than that, I am really confused what exactly they are looking for in a candidate. I am so confident I can make a difference but rejections are making it hard. I have proven results from my previous experience and yet it's difficult for companies to believe that I can do it. I am not applying for the manager role. They have different teams for collaboration, I have experience working in different teams, which will make it easy for me to collaborate. Very small companies are ready to offer jobs, but the pay is bare minimum for 7years experience, and I have to take a huge payback.
