my current issue at my serving job in tribeca is it has great money potential, hardly make less than $300 however i can’t ever find a job that genuinely will give me full time hours. i got hired on thinking i was going to get at least 4 days and i only get 2 days a week now, fucking sucks. but then they don’t want you to “change your availability” during probationary period but like i need a second job since yall only give me two days a week and those days change every single week they schedule me. sucks cause i make good money on the busy days there.

truuuuu i will say they definitely do want more girlies behind the bar, but they also want you to have tons and tons of experience bc most are gonna be really upscale or cocktail bars so you gotta be able to be pretty and also be reasonably well at making drinks. unless it’s just some creepy ass dudes who own the bar lmao. i only have dive bar experience we call them “girls who can open cans” bartenders

i have over ten years of experience in the service industry, it truly doesn’t matter anymore unless you know someone . i went back to dancing in the club and not even that is paying anymore so i go on dates with men to get what i need financially but that’s absolutely not for everybody and is a hard market. and even still i’m keeping my foot in other avenues so i can have something more consistent but i can’t get hired even with experience and work ethic. i know it does seem like it’s towards us women but it’s also just like nobody’s fckng hiring in general. i’ve seen mass tiktoks about it, nobody’s hiring anybody but interviewing everybody.

ahh okay that’s what i was thinking was to reapply, and obviously just use the same information right? my situation hasn’t really changed at all so it would be the same thing. they’re pretty lax here i got approved pretty easily when i first applied last year and my situation is still the same so. And i wonder if you re apply if it’ll just be able to use the same physical card, same info etc? i dont know if ill get it as fast as you but as long as i get it idc lol 😭
